Inspired as much by high fantasy and science fiction sagas as by his deep East and far West roots, Ellis occupies a literary landscape riddled with genre-bending speculative elements. His main focus is on magical alt-history and deep ecological world-building, showcasing his love of the natural world while diving into the intricacies of human relationships.
